The Bat-Spectograph Analyser is used to record the retna eye pattern, DNA, cell stucture, heart rate, and other such scientific data of criminals for further help in future crimefighting. Although this is a superior crimefighting device it can only work at short range distances and is far too large to move out of The Batcave. It recorded The Joker and The Penguin's scientific data when they hid in the trunk of The Batmobile and jumped out inside the Batcave. Batman then flicked the switch to activate this device and recorded important data about both the Joker and Penguin.
