Wonder Girl is Wonder Woman's sister and former partner from World War Two. Her real name is Drusilla. She was played by actress Debra Winger.

Biography[]

Drusilla is the daughter of Queen Hippolyta, the sister of Wonder Woman and a native of Paradise Island, the modern name of the Amazons of Ancient Myth. She eventually followed her sister to the outside world ("Man's World" according to the Amazons) and helped her sister battle the Nazis. However, she also allowed the Nazis to briefly become aware of Paradise Island. She has all of her sister's powers, such as superhuman strength, speed, reflexes, stamina and aerobic ability. Her later adventures are unrevealed.

Behind The Scenes[]

Wonder Girl was played by actress Debra Winger in the original Wonder Woman series on ABC-TV. She did not make an appearance in the second CBS series or in the Batman/Wonder Woman cross-overs.

  • Drusilla is the television version of Donna Troy, the DC Universe version of the character linked to Wonder Woman who joins the Teen Titans.
